Weekly round up…

Gah! It’s been a bit of a funny week, hence the late post!

Last Monday we spent the day at Emma’s Dad’s house. We spent time in the garden and had a lovely, if slightly blustery, walk along the beach and a play in the play ground. It’s funny how the big two still love a round about! It was also the first training session of the 2016-2017 Ice Hockey season for the Junior Cardiff Devils. Charlie was very excited to get back on the ice and we were excited to watch. It’s such a pleasure to watch his progress each week and it’s so great that he’s fitting in well with his new age group team.

Tuesday I finally got to see Secret Life of Pets! Yay! Although I asked them to wait for me, the children had been to see it a few weeks ago so me and Kevin (Auntie Torla) were thrilled that the children let us go too this time! I’m not a huge film person (I don’t like sitting down for such a long period of time) but I really enjoyed it. Jack can tell you the story and lots of the dialouge!

I think the excitement of the cinema took it out of me and Wednesday I felt poorly. Poor Mummy. We hit up Prezzo for dinner and had a quiet game of Monopoly when we got back. Emma almost  bankrupted herself within the first 10 minutes but Charlie was playing the long game! Good work Bobs!

We then had he pleasure of meeting Em’s new friend M, on Thursday and the girls had a sleepover. Jack and Ava loved M and M was fantastic with them! The girls made lots of mess making sludge with floor and water, according to Em it was sensory play but we all know that it wasn’t!

Friday I took advantage of Ava now feeling poorly too and apart from a trip to the doctors we had a sofa day. I love a sofa day sometimes! Poor Ava has a virus so we obviously had to have takeaway to hep her feel better.

Saturday saw the first game back for the Cardiff Devils (pre season game) against the KHL. It was the first time that a KHL team had played in the UK and it was so great to be there! Our boys played hard but in the end the others just had the edge! Apart from that, our sofa day from Friday continued through out the weekend, but over the last few days we’ve made up fro being so inactive!

I’ll get a blog up soon about my nieces birthday party!
